Interested in learning how the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) estimates Wisconsin’s wolf population? In this webinar, you can learn the science behind the yearly population estimates. Wildlife Biologist Adrian Wydeven will start the webinar with an overview of how population estimates were completed up until the DNR started using the scaled occupancy model.

After Adrian’s talk, DNR Research Scientist Jennifer Price Tack will explain the scaled occupancy model for estimating the Wisconsin wolf population used by the DNR for the past three years.
